One of the last few iconic stadiums left in baseball.

I can't imagine not seeing Fenway Park there. Fenway Park forever... <3

Todos Santos is a fairly family oriented town. While I was there I never heard of any specifically termed nude beaches. As photographers, we scout locations knowing that depending on the time of day there may or may not be other people. If there are not other people there, we shoot, trying to be respectful that if anyone did come by the beach, we would stop shooting.

Playa las Palmas is a bit odd in that the beach is a public beach, but to get to it, you actually have to cross private property. We had a conversation with one of the caretakers at one point, getting his permission to be there.

So to answer your question, it's really not a nude beach. It's remote, but you'd have to use your own judgement.

Would you describe Playa Las Palmas as a nude beach? Or was it just remote enough that Ella and you had the run of the place? I would like to take my girlfriend there on our Cabo/La Paz vacation, but have only come across a few, vague references about that beach being nudist friendly.

Alana! I love your insight. I can tell you have found your passion through your photography. Your laguage in describing your process somes right from your heart and I agree with it all.

Yes, when there is time to patient and wait for the "burst of creativity," it is a wonderful peaceful time. It does eventually come.

But yes, too when you're racing a fleeting moment. Maybe only minutes or seconds do all of your senses come alive and it's like shooting a basket at the buzzer, but instead it's art. Nothin' but net!

I'm glad I got to share Nighttime Brain Billy here. He doesn't get nearly enough credit sometimes. :)

And thank you as always for your kind words and sharing what you see. I always find that feedback fascinating to hear.

Haha! And yes, the hair thing. I never know what I'm going to get when I work with someone new. Of course, I'm fine either way. Not really my place to insist on one way or the other. I could make valid artistic arguments for each. And perhaps I will in another entry. I have 50 of these to do, after all!

I also want to say that "brazilians" and hair removal are so overrated. Sara Liz has lovely body hair. And...my Bruce has delightful chest hair!

Billy! I love the caress of the subtle light in these images and the low light grain difusion. Sara's eyes have a sadness about them, they draw me in.

When I take pictures (and when I have ample time) I have a waiting period that I nuture. I trust that when the time is right, my creativity is going to burst and I shoot away. I do love the moments, however, when time is running out...the light is shifting, my drive is pulling out, my iphone battery is near death. I don't think I experience such lasting excitment, love and focus with any thing else as I do in those "critical" moments. I love it!

Thank you for another intriguing story about your process and your creative mind, Nighttime Brain Billy!

-With much gratitude from your biggest fan, Alana Banana

The width of your stories read like sudden random yet meaningful thoughts encountered and expressed as you pursue the main goal of capturing moments. And thus you point out the very thing I heard today while I was on speaker with a friend in the UK... her daughter Charlotte overheard my voice and couldn't help but slip that she just loved my American accent. Like you, I'd never heard that before!

The world constantly fascinates me, as do you, Billy.
